I get it....

Alison Krauss and Union Station, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder.

If these are the only two shows I see at FloydFest this year, the $600 ticket will have been worth it.

Does it count if I know I am going to see a lot more than just those two?

Wow. I could never rationalize paying that much to see a single performance. Hope it's worth it! I don't even like spending more than $50 on a show.

Seriously, Roger has a lot of nerve to do that to his fans.

I guess it's all relative, for some, $300/ticket is not that much cash. Rich bastards! LOL

The MOST I ever paid for a ticket was a NYE Show 3yrs ago, I think $80, and that was a weeks pay for me! yup, it's all relative

here-here Monte, I am the 99% lol

Saw him in San Jose and most money I've ever paid - and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. It's much, much more than a concert.

I saw the San Jose show as well. Through work, there is a suite at the tank. We rarely get any tix,a few sharks games etc. Luckily, nobody at the top had any clue who roger waters was/is.
Got 6 passes to the box, which was at the opposite end of the stage. Like watching it unfold from the top of a mountain. All sights and sounds were perfect!

I would say steep is a bit of an understatement. But if I had the extra cash I would go see him also. Not many people I would pay that kind of money to see these days. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac maybe.

great show though. saw Waters in Philly (Nov 2010) and tic was about $178 for a lower level seat. Think they had to eliminate alot of seats because of the huge production so prices were jacked up. Worth every penny!! Enjoy!

Was that face value? I paid $79 per seat for the show coming up in Denver at the shlepsi center. They are 3rd level, but still, that does seem really high.

In RW's defense, he did offer a lottery system for most venues to bypass scalping. I entered, but didn't get picked, but still was able to buy through tickethorse.

Anyone ever seen 'In the Flesh'? It's def. in my top 3 for concert DVDs.

And Roger better give it.

Suffice it to say that would be yet another reason to find other outlets for my cash.
